Ekstrüzyonla İmalat yöntemi, hammaddenin ısıtılarak eriyik haline getirilip sürücüler tarafından dışarı itilmesi ve itilen hammaddenin bir çekici tarafından çekilerek soğutulması yoluyla yapılan bir imalat yöntemidir. 

 

Enjeksiyon yöntemi ile üretim, bir enjeksiyon sisteminin, kalıp içerisine hammaddeyi enjekte ederek yapıldığı bir yöntemdir. Enjeksiyon yöntemi ile üretimde en yaygın kullanılan malzeme plastik ve türevleri malzemelerdir. Ancak bu yöntemle paslanmaz metal, bakalit, BMS gibi farklı malzemelerle de üretim yapmak mümkündür. 

Enjeksiyon üretiminde kalıp bedelleri diğer yöntemlere göre çok yüksek olduğundan, yüksek sayıda imalat içermeyen ürünler için tercih edilmez.

Sıvama yöntemi, metal sacın kalıp üzerine, kalıp döndirilirken saca baskı yaparak kalıbın dış yüzeyinin formunu vererek yapılan bir imalat yöntemidir.

Bu yöntemde sadece dairesel parçalar işlenebilir ve ölçü hassasiyeti çok yüksek değildir. daha çok el yapımı yöntemlerle parça imal edilir. 

Öncelikle, imalat için kullanılan pres makinaları genel olarak 2 tiptir. Mekanik pres makinesi ve hidrolik pres makinesi. Mekanik pres makinesi, tablaya doğru büyük bir güçle yüksek bir hızla iner ve tabladaki parçayı bu güçle şekillendirir. Hidrolik makinesi ile daha büyük güçlere çıkabilir ancak hareketi oldukça yavaştır. Bu da, şekil verilecek olan parça için önemli bir unsurdur. Parçanın materyali, büyüklüğü ve form alabilmesi gibi özellikleri dikkate alarak, imalat için kullanılacak olan pres yönteminin seçilmesi önemli bir unsurdur.
